Gasaco’s “Defense Trio”: ISO manages Systems, Halal ensures Purity, but what does HACCP do?

1. One Factory, Multiple Standards – Why is it necessary?

International partners often ask: "Gasaco already has ISO for management and Halal for the Muslim market, so why is HACCP still emphasized?"

The answer lies in specialization. At the Quang Minh Beverage Factory (Gasaco), we do not apply these certifications just for show. We use them to create a watertight control process where every certification plays an irreplaceable role.

2. The Core Difference: The Role of HACCP vs. The Rest

To clearly see that HACCP does not overlap with our other standards, let’s look at how Gasaco assigns responsibilities:

  • ISO 9001/22000 (Role: MANAGEMENT): Acts as "The Manager." ISO helps Gasaco standardize documentation, workflows, customer service, and system consistency. It ensures the company operates smoothly and professionally.

  • Halal (Role: RELIGION & PURITY): Acts as "The Screener." Halal ensures that Gasaco’s raw materials are pure and free from prohibited ingredients (such as alcohol or non-compliant animal derivatives).

  • HACCP (Role: TECHNICAL & SECURITY): Acts as "The Security Guard & Doctor." This is the biggest difference. HACCP is not concerned with paperwork aesthetics; it only asks: "Will bacteria die at this temperature?" or "Will this machine drop a screw into the bottle?"

In short: ISO makes us professional, Halal makes us culturally compliant, but HACCP ensures the product does not cause poisoning.

3. HACCP "In Action" on Gasaco's Production Line

Putting theory aside, let’s see how HACCP works on a bottle of One Bee Aloe Vera Drink:

  1. At Aloe Vera Preparation: ISO mandates that staff wear gloves. However, HACCP dictates how often those gloves must be changed and the exact concentration of Chlorine in the washing water to kill bacteria without being harmful.

  2. At Cooking (Pasteurization): Halal does not interfere with temperature. But HACCP sets a "Critical Control Point" (CCP): If the pasteurization temperature drops below the safety level for even 1 second, the system automatically rejects the entire batch.

  3. At Bottling: HACCP requires a metal detector at the end of the line to ensure no metal fragments enter the bottle—a specific technical detail that general management standards rarely cover.

4. Conclusion: Comprehensive Peace of Mind

When you hold a Gasaco product, you are protected by a "three-pronged" defense system:

  • You buy Professionalism from the ISO system.

  • You buy Purity from the Halal standard.

  • And most importantly, you buy Absolute Safety from the HACCP technical barrier.

This is why Gasaco (Quang Minh) confidently conquers even the most demanding markets, where clients demand safety proven by technical engineering, not just promises.
